VCDs are regular compact discs (CD-ROMs) but contain videos in MPEG-1

format. A single VCD can have 81 minutes of video. Hence, a two-hour movie will require two VCDs.

Most Indian films comes in VCDs. You can buy Hindi, Tamil, Telugu,

Malayalam, Kannada VCDs from online sites such as Rediff, Sify, and IndiaTimes.

To play VCDs on a PC, use the freeware software Subhash VCDPlayer
